 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, and/or transfer from available funds a sum of money for the purpose of purchasing and equipping one (1) police cruiser for the Police Department, including any incidental costs or expenses, or take any action relative thereto.  

** Addresses the need to replace aging equipment within the police department  fleet. SEE QUOTES

To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, and/or transfer from available funds a sum of money for the purpose of purchasing and installing asset management lockers for the Police Department. 

**  Addresses the need to maintain expensive equipment with strict proximity card access and inventory reporting.  This applies to our radar units, defibrillators, tint and sound meters, firearms, and spare radios.  SEE QUOTE

 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, and/or transfer from available funds a sum of money for the purpose of purchasing 25 body armor plates and carriers for the Police Department, including any incidental costs or expenses, or take any action relative thereto. 

** Addresses the need to replace aging/expired body armor among 25 police officers. There is a federal reimbursement grant which will reimburse the Town for UP TO 50% of each body armor unit purchased.
